Lucy Firth is a Registered Nurse and Assistant Director in the Nursing Taskforce, Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care. Lucy currently leads work to develop the National Nursing Workforce Strategy.
Lucy has a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Notre Dame and a graduate certificate in Cardiac Critical Care from La Trobe University and has worked across jurisdictions including WA, Victoria and ACT. During her time at the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care, Lucy led development of the Nurse Practitioner Workforce Plan and establishment of the clinical management section to assist the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.
